Maken also questioned Arvind Kejriwal's election announcements. He called Kejriwal "Farjiwal" and claimed that all his announcements are "fake". He said, "What has Kejriwal done in Punjab? There is no Lieutenant Governor there. Kejriwal is misleading the public by making big promises."

Accusation of Kejriwal being anti-national

Ajay Maken termed Arvind Kejriwal as "anti-national". He alleged that Kejriwal supports the policies of the BJP, including issues like Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Uniform Civil Code (UCC), and Article 370. Maken said, "Kejriwal has no ideology. His politics revolves only around his personal ambitions. Such a person cannot be trusted."

Demand for reconsideration of Congress-AAP alliance

Ajay Maken called the alliance of Congress and AAP in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 a "mistake". He said that the Congress should now correct this mistake and distance itself from AAP. He stressed that any kind of cooperation with the Arvind Kejriwal-led party is against the basic principles of the Congress.
