In the last 24 hours, 58,077 new cases were registered in the country, while 1,50,407 people recovered from Corona and returned to their homes. However, daily deaths due to corona still remain a cause of concern for health officials. According to the latest figures, 657 people died of corona within the last 24 hours.

Infection rate below 4 percent

A significant drop in the daily infection rate has also been recorded amid rapidly declining corona cases. Now the daily positivity rate is 3.89%. At the same time, active cases have come down to 6,97,802. According to the Health Department, a total of 4,25,36,137 cases of corona have been reported in the country so far. In this 4,13,31,158 people have been cured. At the same time, the total deaths have been 5,07,177. 1,71,79,51,432 people have been vaccinated in the country.
