LPG Cylinder Price: From November 1, oil marketing companies have given a new shock of inflation to consumers by increasing the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders and aviation fuel. Companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder by Rs 62, due to which the retail price of this cylinder in Delhi has now become Rs 1,802. At the same time, the price of 5 kg FTL cylinder has also been increased by Rs 15. The relief for domestic consumers is that there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.

Commercial LPG prices increased in major cities

Apart from Delhi, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder have also increased in other major cities. In Mumbai, this cylinder will now be available for Rs 1,754, which was earlier Rs 1,692.50. Its price has increased to Rs 1,911.50 in Kolkata, while this cylinder will be available in Chennai for Rs 1,964. This time the price hike can have a direct impact on those businesses that use this cylinder for restaurants, hotels, dhabas and catering services.

Prices had also increased in October

This trend of inflation has continued since last month, when on October 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were also increased by Rs 48.50. Earlier, a 19 kg cylinder was available in Delhi for Rs 1,740, which has now increased to Rs 1,802.

Price of aviation fuel also increased

Apart from commercial LPG, domestic oil marketing companies have also increased the prices of aviation fuel (ATF). The price of ATF has been increased by Rs 2,941.5 per kilolitre. After this increase, the price of ATF in Delhi has become Rs 90,538.72 per kilolitre, Rs 93,392.79 in Kolkata, Rs 84,642.91 in Mumbai and Rs 93,957.10 per kilolitre in Chennai.

Aviation sector will be affected

This increase in ATF prices can become a challenge for the country's aviation companies. Due to the increase in the cost of aircraft fuel, an increase in air fares is being estimated, which can have a direct impact on the passengers.

Inflation continues

Oil marketing companies revise fuel prices every month based on the fluctuations in crude oil prices in the international market. In the current circumstances, the increase in the prices of LPG and ATF has given another blow of inflation to the consumers.
