Mahakumbh 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently shared important information about Mahakumbh 2025 at the closing ceremony of Gorakhpur Mahotsav 2025. He said that this Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj is an extraordinary opportunity for the people of the country and the world. The Chief Minister said that through this event, devotees will be able to understand the spiritual heritage of India in depth. The experience of this spiritual journey under the guidance of saints will be unforgettable for the devotees. The special thing is that this Mahakumbh is being organized after 144 years at a special muhurta.

40 crore devotees expected to come

Yogi Adityanath said that the Mahakumbh will start from January 13 and will run till February 26. About 40 crore devotees are expected to participate in this 45-day event. He said that gathering of such a large number of people is an impossible task for any other country in the world. This can only be possible in a country with a huge population like India.

He said that on this occasion devotees will be able to take bath in the Triveni Sangam of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. This bath will provide a sacred and spiritual experience. The Chief Minister said that many special construction works have been done during the Mahakumbh which will make this event even more attractive.

Special craftsmanship and religious places

During Mahakumbh 2025, devotees will be able to visit many important religious places. These include Akshay Vat Corridor, Maa Saraswati Temple, Bade Hanuman Temple, Maharishi Vyas Corridor and Lord Ram and Nishadraj Corridor. Apart from this, devotees will also get a special experience of Nag Vasuki Temple, Dwadash Jyotirlinga, and Char Dham Yatra.

Mahakumbh organizing area

The Chief Minister said that this time the Mahakumbh is being organized in an area of 10,000 acres. This organizing area is much larger than before, so that proper arrangements can be made for a large number of devotees. Preparations for the event are going on in full swing. He also informed that 35 lakh devotees had reached Prayagraj even before the start of the event.
