Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister in an address to the state announced extending the lockdown till April 30. He appealed the people of the state to cooperate in the drive to weed out coronavirus. He also announced decision to seal certain areas which has emerged as hotspot. Hours after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday announced that the state government has decided to extend the lockdown till April 30 to control the spread of the novel coronavirus.The state will show the way to the country even in these tough times," he said, as quoted by news agency ANI.
