In Sitamarhi district of Bihar, there has been news of a knife attack on a youth for posting status on social media of expelled BJP leader Nupur Sharma. The matter is of Nanpur police station area of the district. The injured youth Ankit Jha is admitted in DMCH Hospital. The young man said in an interview to a TV channel that on July 15, some people came to the tea shop and asked him if he was a supporter of Nupur Sharma. When Ankit said yes, the attackers first scuffled and then stabbed him with a knife to his stomach and waist. Ankit caught the two attackers at the same time but a crowd of about 25 people came and took them away.Ankit says that he has no identity with the attackers. Four youths, Goda alias Gulab Rabbani, Mohammad Nehal, Mohammad Helal and Mohammad Belal have been made accused in the case. Two of them have been arrested. However, the police have denied Nupur Sharma angle.According to Sitamarhi SP, Ankit's brother Ashish Kumar Jha did not make any mention of the controversy regarding Nupur Sharma in the FIR. There was a dispute between the two parties over the release of cigarette smoke on Ankit's mouth. After this 4-5 people intoxicated carried out the crime. The incident took place on July 15 but now mischievous elements are trying to give it a communal look. Their identity is being investigated by investigating the matter.
