Meta launched Twitter's competitor Threads app, how to use it

Threads App Launched: Mark Zuckerberg's Meta has launched Twitter's competitor Threads app, this app is offering Twitter's alternate platform to troubled users of Elon Musk's Twitter. In which all the features are given like Twitter. In this, the limit of the post is being given 500 words, which is more than Twitter's 280 word limit, and it can include links, photos and videos of up to five minutes.

This app has become available on Apple and Google Android App Store in more than 100 countries including U.S., Britain, Australia, Canada and Japan. That is, now users can take advantage of this by installing Twitter's Rival App Threads from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Threads App: Features

Threads is a new app from Instagram that offers users the ability to share text, links, and join conversations by replying to or reposting other users' messages. The app allows users to log-in with their existing Instagram account username and follow their followers list. That is, you will not need to set a separate username for this. Meta is the popular photo and video-sharing platform with a user base of over 2 billion, including top brands, famous celebrities and content creators.

According to a post on Meta's chief executive Mark Zuckerberg's threads, there is a possibility that this app could prove to be a public conversation app with more than 1 billion users.

Twitter will give direct competition

According to reports, Threads is built on ActivityPub social-networking protocol like Mastodon and Decentralized Social Media Apps. This means that users who create a following on threads will be able to interact with users on a larger level than Instagram.

Users will get Twitter-like experience in this app, in this app you are getting the same features as Twitter. That is, this app is preparing to give direct competition to Twitter. Follow these steps to install Threads app

• For this, first go to Google Play Store and type "Thread, an Instagram app" and install the app.

• After doing this, click on “Import from Instagram”. After this it will access your profile from Insta.
• Click on the option of Continue showing at the bottom of the screen.
