Then sources had told that the cabinet expansion to be held on Monday morning at 9 am would be done. However, it was not disclosed how many new people would be included in the cabinet tomorrow, but it was also being claimed that only one new member would be sworn in as a minister.

Ramniwas Rawat, who was a 6-time MLA from Vijaypur assembly seat of Sheopur district, has been included in the Mohan Yadav cabinet. Rawat joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) about 2 months ago on 30 April during the Lok Sabha election campaign.

Rawat can resign from the post of MLA

Although it has been more than 2 months since Ramniwas Rawat joined the ruling BJP, he has not yet resigned from the MP Assembly as a Congress MLA. However, sources related to BJP said that there is a possibility that after taking oath as a minister, Ramniwas may resign from his post as a Congress MLA.

After becoming a minister, Rawat can submit his resignation from the post of MLA to the Assembly Speaker. After this, re-election will be held on his assembly seat.
