According to a report by the United News of Bangladesh (UNB), Musk and several other prominent global business figures are expected to attend the International Investment Conference to be held in the capital Dhaka.

However, the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) has dismissed these reports as rumors. The organization's executive chairman Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun has clarified that there has been no official confirmation of Elon Musk's participation. Despite this, discussions are rife in the Bangladeshi media about Musk's possible appearance.

BIDA's goal: Attracting investors

BIDA is preparing to host a grand International Investment Conference in mid-April next year. The event aims to improve Bangladesh's global image and attract local and foreign investors. The conference will include 5-6 days of meetings, exhibitions and side events, focusing on sustainable investment.

The government has invited several other industrialists including Elon Musk to attend the conference. According to the UNB report, Musk's senior security adviser has recently visited Dhaka, fueling speculation about his possible presence.
