Delhi, UP, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh have also refused to celebrate Holi at private, public places. If you want to celebrate Holi in your society, first you have to take permission from the administration. Most states have imposed a complete ban, but a limited number of people are being allowed to celebrate Holi.
Many states have prohibited celebrating Holi in public, although no travel is banned. That is, you can come and go anywhere. But states like UP have increased their vigor and insisted on testing people coming from outside. That is, if you are going from Delhi to UP, then you will have to do corona test.
By the way, celebrating Holi in public places or in large numbers is prohibited. But if you want to celebrate Holi with your family, then there is no restriction in it. It is being said by the government that you should celebrate the festival with your family members, avoid out-and-out, crowded areas.
The biggest crisis of Corona's new boom is in Maharashtra, where records are being broken every day. This is the reason why the Maharashtra government was forced to take tough decisions. There is already a lockdown in many cities and now in Mumbai you will not be able to celebrate Holi in public places.
In Mumbai, BMC has issued an order not to play Holika Dahan or Rang in a public place or a private gathering. Strictness has also been increased in Mumbai because in the past, there has been an explosion of corona in parties here.The UP government also issued guidelines on the last day amid rising cases of corona. There is a ban on any kind of party or procession on the occasion of Holi in UP. Permission has to be taken for any program, otherwise action will be taken. Not only this, in big cities like Noida, Holi will also not be organized in the society without any permission. Also, in states where there has been a tremendous jump in the corona cases, if you want to take an entry in UP, then corona will have to be tested.
Corona has increased again in many states of North India, so its effect is also seen in Punjab. All types of Holi celebrations have been banned in Punjab. Apart from this, testing is being extended. In order to avoid crowds in the mandis, the goods will be provided to the streets of the people.
Both states have imposed lockdown, night curfew restrictions in many of their cities. There will be a lockdown in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, so the program of Holika Dahan will be celebrated in the midst of this ban. Gujarat has approved a limited number of Holika Dahan in the society, but people have been appealed to at least opt out.
It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday also about 50 thousand corona cases have been reported in India. This is the highest figure in the last three months. On the one hand vaccination work is going on, on the other hand, corona cases are also increasing.
