News for BPSC aspirants! 12 thousand candidates will be able to appear for the exam again

Bihar News: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai has refused to cancel the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 held earlier this month. Despite allegations and controversies of question paper leak during the exam, he clarified that the entire exam will not be cancelled. However, re-examination will be conducted for the students affected due to disruption at Bapu Examination Complex.

Re-examination will be held on January 4

The BPSC chairman announced that the decision was taken due to a conspiracy to disrupt the examination held at the Bapu Examination Complex Center on December 13. He said that more than 12,000 candidates will appear for the re-examination on January 4, 2025. The exam will be held at a new center, giving all the candidates a fair chance.

Notice issued to 34 candidates

Show cause notices have been issued to 34 students for disrupting the examination. BPSC has directed these students to respond by December 26. Chairman Manubhai said that the commission will evaluate their answers and appropriate action will be taken on that basis. Action will be taken against those candidates who do not respond on time on the basis of available evidence.

Demand for cancellation of exam

Some candidates of BPSC exam are demanding complete cancellation of the exam held on December 13. These protesters are sitting on a dharna at Gardanibagh in Patna. They say that conducting re-examination for only one center is a violation of the principle of "equal opportunity". The protesters have the support of Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, who has visited the dharna site and expressed his sympathy towards the movement.

Statement of Patna administration

The Patna district administration has issued a statement and questioned the protesters. The administration said that most of the protesters are non-examinees and their aim is only to spoil the atmosphere. The administration supported the decision of BPSC and appealed to maintain the order.
