Suspect of paper leak from Hazaribagh in JharkhandAfter Gujarat and Bihar, now the strings of NEET paper leak related to Jharkhand are being seen. The burnt booklets of NEET paper recovered in Patna are suspected to have leaked from Hazaribagh Center. EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) has demanded the original question paper from NTA to match the burnt booklets.Now if the gang is caught, a fine of one croreIf a person or group leaks the paper with a complete plan, then there is a provision of 5-10 years of imprisonment and a fine of at least one crore rupees. If any institution is involved in the paper leak, then there is a rule to destroy its property and recover the entire cost of the examination from the same institution. There is also no provision for bail to the accused under this law. No officer holding a post lower than that of DSP or Assistant Commissioner can conduct investigation under this law.The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 - the anti-paper leak law for examinations for central recruitment and entrance into central educational institutions, came into effect on Friday.
