Pakistan Moon Mission: China on Friday launched its Moon research mission Chang'e-6 spacecraft. This information was given by China National Space Administration (CNSA) that as per local time, it will be launched today at 05:27 pm. According to this, the Chang'e-6 mission has been entrusted with the task of collecting samples from the mysterious far side of the Moon and then bringing them back to Earth. This is the first effort of its kind in the history of human moon research. The special thing is that Pakistan has also sent its satellite along with this Chinese vehicle. The Pakistani government may want to copy India's Chandrayaan-3 mission in collaboration with Beijing, but the Pakistanis, who are in financial crisis, have started opposing this Moon mission. It was said on social media that we need bread first, what will happen with the Moon Mission.China launched missionCNSA said that the Long March-5 Y8 rocket will carry the Chang'e-6. The Chang'e-6 spacecraft consists of an orbiter, a lander, an ascender and a returner. The spacecraft will carry 4 payloads developed through international collaboration. Scientific instruments from France, Italy and the European Space Agency are on the Chang'e-6 lander, while a small satellite from Pakistan is on the orbiter. About 50 guests from 12 countries and international organizations have been invited to attend a workshop focused on the international payloads carried by Chang'e-6 and witness the launch in Hainan.Purpose of Chang'e-6 spacecraftThe impact crater, known as the Apollo Basin, has been selected as the primary target landing and sampling site for the Chang'e-6 mission, located within Aitken Basin, the south pole on the far side of the Moon. The spacecraft will make a soft landing after reaching the Moon. Within 48 hours of landing, the robotic arm will be extended to remove rocks and soil from the lunar surface, while a drill will be used to drill holes in the ground. Scientific investigation will be done simultaneously. After sealing the samples in containers, Ascendant will fly by the Moon and dock with the orbiter in lunar orbit. According to the information, the entire mission is expected to last for about 53 days.
