Israel-Palestine War - Palestine raised demand in UNGA to stop bombing - blunt statement from Israel
Israel-Palestine War: In the United Nations General Assembly UNGA, Palestine has demanded to stop the bombing by Israel. Israel has given a blunt reply on this. Israel is continuously attacking Gaza Strip to break the back of Hamas. Meanwhile, for the second time in two days, a ground attack was also carried out on Gaza. Regarding these attacks, a demand was raised by Palestine in the United Nations General Assembly to stop the attack on Gaza by Israel.

Regarding the ongoing war in Gaza, the Palestinian Ambassador said that people's lives should be saved by stopping the bombing. On this, the Israeli ambassador responded harshly and said bluntly that he would die only by eliminating Hamas. The Israeli ambassador reiterated his resolve to eliminate Hamas. The echo of the war between Israel and Hamas was also heard in the United Nations General Assembly comprising 193 countries. The efforts of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to stop the war also did not succeed. After this, Arab countries are expected to approve a resolution regarding immediate ceasefire in Gaza in the General Assembly meeting on Friday.

If there is ceasefire, Hamas will gather weapons again: Israel

The emergency special session of the General Assembly resumed on Thursday over Israeli actions in the Palestinian territories. During this time, except Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, various speakers one after the other supported the Arab resolution regarding the call for ceasefire. Erdan told the General Assembly, “A ceasefire would mean giving Hamas time to accumulate weapons so that they can once again commit genocide against us.” “Any call for a ceasefire is not an effort at peace,” he said, after citing various Hamas statements related to its pledge to destroy Israel and the Jews. This would be an attempt to tie Israel's hands, which could prevent us from eliminating the threat facing our citizens.

Demand raised for supply of food and water to Palestinian citizens

On Thursday, representatives of about a dozen countries appealed for a ceasefire, safety of Palestinians facing continuous Israeli bombardment in Gaza and supply of food, water, medicines and fuel. On one hand, about 1400 Israelis have been killed in Hamas attacks. On the other hand, according to Gaza's Health Ministry, more than 7000 Palestinians have died in Israel's retaliation. Apart from this, taking hostage of more than 220 people of Israel is another major issue.

Hamas ready to release civilian prisoners: Iran

Iran's Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahiyan has said that Hamas is ready to release common prisoners, but the international community will have to take responsibility for the release of 6,000 Palestinians imprisoned in Israel. “Iran stands ready to play its role along with Qatar and Turkey in this vitally important humanitarian effort,” he told the General Assembly.
