PM Modi expressed hope for meaningful discussion before G-20 conference

G-20 Summit 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed the hope of meaningful discussion in the G-20 summit. He wrote on his social media 'X' that this meeting would pave the way for inclusive development. He wrote- India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit on 09-10 September 2023 at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This is the first G20 summit to be hosted by India. I look forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he will chair the session on 'One Earth', 'One Family' and 'One Future' during the G20 Summit. The session will cover a range of issues of major concern to the world community. These include pursuing strong, sustainable, inclusive and balanced growth.

Will work collectively for world peace

Prime Minister Modi said that we will work collectively to advance gender equality, women empowerment and ensure world peace. India places great emphasis on a human-centred way of progress, it is important to emulate Gandhiji's mission of serving the underprivileged. PM Modi said- We want to accelerate the progress of the Green Development Agreement and strengthen multilateral institutions for the 21st century. We give high priority to futuristic areas such as technological transformation and digital public infrastructure.

Guests will enjoy Indian hospitality

PM Modi wrote- I am sure that our guests will enjoy the warmth of Indian hospitality. Rashtrapati ji will give dinner on 9th September. On the 10th, world leaders will pay homage to Gandhiji at Rajghat. The same day at the closing ceremony, G20 leaders will come together as one family to share their collective vision for a sustainable and just 'one future'.
