Ram Mandir: PM Modi unveiled the statue of Jatayu, Ayodhya Yatra is incomplete without him

Ram Mandir: Today, Shri Ram was consecrated in the Ram temple built at the place in Ayodhya where he was born. The chief host of this ritual was Prime Minister Modi. After completing all the rituals of Pran Pratistha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kuber Tila in the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya. Here the Prime Minister worshiped Lord Shiva in the Shiva temple and unveiled the statue of Jatayu. During this, PM Modi also showered flowers on the workers involved in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The statue of 'Jatayu' is situated on Kuber Tila.

Let us tell you that Jatayu is a famous Garuda character of Ramayana. When Ravana was abducting Sita and taking her to Lanka, Jatayu tried to rescue Sita from Ravana. Angered by this, Ravana cut off his wings. During this, the Prime Minister performed Jalabhishek of Shivalinga and also circumambulated the temple. The ancient Shiva temple located on Kuber Tila in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex is also being renovated by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is constructing the Ram temple. Later the Prime Minister unveiled a statue of 'Jatayu' in the premises of Ram Temple.

What is the importance of Kuber Tila?

The importance of Kuber Tila is so much that in the year 1902, when 148 places were identified in the 84 Kosi Parikrama area in Ram Nagari, this Kuber Tila was also included among them. After this, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) also included it among the 8 places in the conservation list of Ayodhya. Baba Ram Sharan Das and Amir Ali were hanged at this place during the British Raj. The saints of Ayodhya say that the procession of Lord Shiva used to be taken out from Kuber Tila but now this process has stopped.

The height of this Kuber Tila built in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex is about 100 feet. It is made of mud and stones. There is an ancient temple of Kameshwar Mahadev here. It is said that Kuber ji had arrived at this place. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 30 feet high statue of Jatayu at Kuber Tila.
