Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of 'Jito Connect 2022' of 'Jain International Trade Organisation' through video conferencing today. Prime Minister Modi tweeted this information.

PM Modi will address the inauguration ceremony on Friday at 10.30 am. Organized by Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), the forum will bring together young business people working in different sectors. Jain International Trade Organization is a global organization connecting the religious people of Jain community across the world.

Through the "Jeeto Connect" program, this organization provides a way forward for business and industry to grow through mutual networking and personal interaction. The three-day "Jeeto Connect-2022" is being organized by Gangadham Annex, Pune from May 6 to 8. In this, different sessions will be organized on various issues related to business and economy.

PM Modi reviews heat wave management and preparedness for monsoon

Let us inform that earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation related to heat wave management and preparedness for monsoon. During this meeting, IMD and NDMA informed about the persistence of high temperatures in May 2022 across the country.

During this meeting, States and Union Territories have been advised to prepare Heat Action Plans at the State, District and City level as standard response. Also with regard to preparations for the southwest monsoon, all states have been advised to prepare a 'Flood Preparedness Plan' and take appropriate preparedness measures.

The NDRF has also been advised to develop its deployment plan in the flood-affected states. It was also said that the active use of social media should be widely adopted to sensitize the communities.
