PM Modi reiterated his call for dialogue and an immediate end to the violence and expressed India's willingness to contribute in every way possible for peace efforts. The Prime Minister also conveyed to him (President of Ukraine) India's deep concern for the safety of Indian citizens, including students present in Ukraine. He also sought the facilitation by the Ukrainian authorities for the speedy evacuation of Indian nationals.
