Wrestlers Protest: In the case of harassment of women wrestlers, Delhi Police has filed its charge sheet today i.e. on Thursday. According to sources, in the charge sheet of 1100 to 1200 pages, Delhi Police has told the court that women wrestlers have failed to provide sufficient evidence in the case. Along with this, the police has also filed a 550-page cancellation report to withdraw the POCSO case registered against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.In the charge sheet, Delhi Police has told that during the investigation of the case, it has not found any technical evidence against Brij Bhushan Singh. In the investigation, the police have not found any suspicious picture, video or footage or any forensic evidence. Evidence was also sought from women wrestlers by the police but they failed to provide it.According to sources, the police have told in the charge sheet that the situation is not clear from the photographs provided by the women wrestlers. All the wrestlers of only one akhada have filed statements against the former president of the wrestling federation. In such a situation, the accused can get its benefit.Delhi Police had registered the case on April 28Following the protests by the wrestlers and the intervention of the Supreme Court, the Delhi Police registered two FIRs on 28 April. In this, one FIR was of sexual harassment and one was of sexual harassment with a minor, for which a case has been registered under the POCSO Act.Wrestlers had a meeting with the Sports MinisterThe protesters are adamant on demanding the arrest of wrestler Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Wrestlers also had a meeting with Sports Minister Anurag Thakur last week. In this meeting too, he demanded the immediate arrest of Singh. In the meeting, a demand was placed on behalf of the players to present the charge sheet by June 15.
