Prajwal Revanna Case - Prajwal Revanna booked return ticket, may come to India on this day
Prajwal Revanna Case: After the warning received from former Prime Minister and grandfather HD Devegowda, Prajwal Revanna is going to return to India. He is facing allegations of sexual abuse. It is said that he has booked a return flight ticket from Munich to Bengaluru on May 30. Official sources gave this information on Wednesday. According to SIT sources, the 33-year-old grandson of JDS supremo HD Devegowda is expected to reach Bengaluru on the morning of May 31.

According to the report of news agency PTI, SIT sources said that it is keeping an eye on Kempegowda Airport here so that he can be arrested as soon as he lands. Prajwal Revanna is contesting as an NDA candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. The Karnataka State Women's Commission had requested Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to order an inquiry into the videos in which several women were allegedly sexually assaulted by him. Revanna fled the country after the news surfaced.

Cancelled flight ticket from Germany twice

Two cases of sexual harassment have been registered against Prajwal so far. Two days ago, he had released a video message, in which he promised to appear before the SIT on May 31 and cooperate in the investigation. Sources said that the MP has cancelled flight tickets from Germany twice before. Meanwhile, the SIT searched Prajwal's residence in Hassan city on Tuesday, which continued till late night. Sources say that some objectionable material has been seized.

Prajwal's grandfather HD Devegowda had written a letter last week appealing him to return and face the investigation. In a letter titled 'My warning to Prajwal Revanna' on May 24, Devegowda had written, 'At this time I can do only one thing. I can give a strict warning to Prajwal and he should return from wherever he is and surrender to the police. He should subject himself to the legal process. This is not an appeal that I am making, it is a warning that I am issuing. If he does not heed this warning, he will have to face the wrath of me and all the members of his family. The law will look into the charges against him, but if he does not listen to the family, all ties with him will be broken.'

What did Prajwal Revanna say on the allegations of fleeing abroad?

In his video message, Prajwal had said in Kannada, 'First of all I want to apologize to my parents, grandfather, Kumaranna (Kumaraswamy), the people of Karnataka and all the party workers that I did not tell anyone about my whereabouts abroad. When the elections were held on April 26, there was no case against me and no special investigation team was formed. My foreign trip was already planned. I left from there after the elections and after three-four days I came to know about this (case) while watching YouTube and news channels. Then the SIT issued a notice and I replied to the notice through my ex account and my lawyer and asked for seven days' time.
