 The Brahma Kumaris Institute is nurturing and fostering local culture through radio Madhuban. It has also been recognized by the Government of India and Radio Madhuban has won three National Awards at the Community Radio Award.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar today in New Delhi Presented the 'National Awards for Community Radio' for the years 2018 and 2019 at a function held at Ambedkar Bhavan. The event is organized under the 7th Community Radio Conference. He released the booklet 'Jan Connect: Explicit intent, decisive step' based on the important decisions of the first 75 days of the new government. This booklet has been prepared by the Outreach and Communications Bureau of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The radio of the Brahma Kumaris organization, which is acting as a big bridge of the spiritual world, is working effectively in the areas of tribal welfare, rural development and culture development in the Madhuban Aburod region. Due to this, he has received three National Awards for 2018 and 2019 in the hands of Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar in Delhi. The Brahmakumari Institute is operating with an international office in Aburod, Rajasthan and has branches in several countries. This radio is widely spread and popular in Mount Abu and Abu Road areas.
Madhuban is raising children, society and culture
Radio Madhuban's program Nanhe Stars received the first prize by the Community Engagement category for 2018. Madhuban Ki Gaon Ri Baata Program has received the award for the upliftment of local culture in 2019. Madhuban has been awarded the third prize on the Openo Samaj program for the culture upliftment of 2018.
Minister appreciated
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar congratulated all the awardees and praised the role played by them as representatives of community radio stations in all parts of the country. The number of community radio stations currently stands at 262. He said that the government aims to increase this to 500 stations. This will strengthen the community radio campaign in the country. He said that radio is the most powerful and reliable medium of communication. Javadekar said about the success of the 'Mann ki Baat' program, that it has now become a 'dil ki baat' along with 'Desh Ki Baat'. He urged the participants of the conference to share their experiences and make suggestions to improve the quality of content and programs. He requested the participants to write a letter to me about their suggestion. A list of all programs running on community radio stations across the country was also released on the occasion.
Amit Khare, Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, highlighted the importance of linking Sustainable Development Goals with the content of community radio. He also said that community radio serves as an important link between the national thought process and local issues and challenges.
