Raj CM Gehlot announces ₹3,500-crore Universal Health Care scheme in Budget

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday presented the Budget for 2021-22 and announced that Universal Health Care scheme worth Rs 3,500 crore for the people of the state.

The Congress government also announced that Agricultural Budget will be presented separately in the state Assembly from next year.

While presenting the budget for Rajasthan, Gehlot said that nursing colleges will be opened in 25 districts.

In a first, the Gehlot government presented its first paperless budget in the state assembly.

"The state budget 2021-22 will be paperless this time. Efforts have been made to take every section of society together. Corona has affected the economy so efforts will be made to gather financial resources," Gehlot said while presenting the budget in Rajasthan Assembly.
