Ayodhya Deepotsav: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to celebrate the 8th grand Deepotsav in Ayodhya this year, in which there is a plan to create a new world record by lighting 28 lakh lamps on 55 ghats of Saryu river. This event will be held on October 30, and preparations are going on for it on a large scale.Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University has decided the number of lamps and volunteers so that this event can be successful. About 30,000 volunteers from 14 colleges, 37 intermediate colleges and 40 voluntary organizations will participate in this event. A complete plan has been made to light the lamps on the ghats in a systematic manner, in which the number of lamps and volunteers on each ghat has been determined.Detailed planning of the eventFor example, 765 volunteers will be deployed for 65,000 diyas at Ghat 1 of Ram Ki Paidi, while details of diyas and volunteers at other ghats have already been released. The work of laying diyas on the ghats has started from October 25, and ID cards of volunteers are also being distributed.A final training meeting will be held on October 25 to review the final preparations of Deepotsav. It will be attended by other concerned people including district administration and university officials, so that the event to be held on October 30 can be conducted smoothly.Preparation for world recordThe aim of this grand event is to re-establish Ayodhya on the global stage. The lighting of 28 lakh diyas will not only reveal religious faith but will also highlight the cultural heritage of Ayodhya. This Deepotsav will further strengthen the identity of Ayodhya all over the world.
