LPG Gas Cylinder: Just hours before the presentation of Budget 2025, millions of people in the country have received some relief. Indian oil companies have announced a reduction in the prices of commercial gas cylinders, benefiting businesses and small enterprises. This marks the second consecutive time in recent months that commercial gas cylinder prices have been lowered. However, domestic gas cylinder prices have remained stable since March 2024.

Commercial Gas Cylinders Become Cheaper

A reduction in commercial gas cylinder prices has been observed in February 2025 as well.

Stability in Domestic Gas Cylinder Prices

However, there has been no change in domestic gas cylinder prices since March 2024. The last price reduction was ₹100, announced by the government before Holi and the Lok Sabha elections.

How Much Relief for the Public?

The reduction in commercial gas cylinder prices will provide financial relief to hotels, restaurants, and other small businesses. However, consumers are still waiting for any changes in domestic gas cylinder prices.

All eyes are now on the government's upcoming policies and Budget 2025 to see if any further relief measures are announced.
