Bus Accident: A painful accident again happened late on Saturday night on Samruddhi Expressway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra. 12 people have died in this accident while about 23 people are said to be injured. This road accident occurred due to a horrific collision between a mini bus and a container. When the police got the news of the accident, the injured passengers were rescued and they were immediately taken to the hospital. At present the injured are being treated.According to the information, 35 devotees from Nashik had gone to visit the Dargah of Tourist Baba in Buldhana district. This accident happened when everyone was returning to Nashik after darshan. When this mini bus was passing through Vaijapur, at the same time a truck was parked at the toll at Jambargaon Shivra. The mini bus was coming at a high speed and rammed straight into the parked truck. The collision of the mini bus was so strong that 12 people died on the spot. A 4-year-old child is also included among the dead.When the local people got information about this accident, they immediately informed the police about the whole matter and started rescuing the people trapped in the mini bus. The police squad also reached the spot and with the help of local people the injured were rescued. The injured have been referred to Ghati Hospital in Sambhajinagar where they are being treated. It is being told that all the passengers are residents of Pathardi and Indiranagar in Nashik district.There were 35 passengers on boardIt is being told that there were a total of 35 passengers in the mini bus, out of which none survived, 12 have died while 23 people have been injured. When the police was informed about this accident, 6 ambulances were called on the spot and the injured were taken to the hospital. Out of 23 injured, 14 have been sent to Valley Hospital. The 12 dead include 5 men, 6 women and a minor.PM Modi Announced HelpPrime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed regret over the Samriddhi Road accident. He has announced through his PMO Twitter handle that the families of those who died in this accident will be given an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister National Relief Fund. Also, assistance of Rs 50-50 thousand has been announced for the injured. Meanwhile, CM Eknath Shinde has announced an assistance amount of Rs 5 lakh to all the deceased.
