Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Achinta From starting as a tailor in Howrah to support your family

Cricket | India's young weightlifter Achinta Sheuly has made the entire nation proud with her performance in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has also saluted the spirit of Achinta. Sachin narrates how Achinta's journey is an inspiration for India's young athletes. Sachin wrote on Twitter that Achinta started out as a tailor in Howrah so that he could support his family and now he has won the gold medal.

Sachin wrote in the tweet, 'From starting as a tailor in Howrah to hoisting the tricolor at the top of Birmingham to support my family. It is a wonderful journey and an inspiring story. Congratulations on the gold medal. Kudos to the Indian Army for supporting such players.

Achinta won the third gold medal for India in the Commonwealth Games 2022. 20-year-old Achinta won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event by lifting 313 kg. Achinta lifted 143 in the snatch round and 170 kg in the clean and jerk. So far all three gold medals for India have come only in weightlifting. Mirabai Chanu and Jeremy Lalrinnunga have also won gold medals in weightlifting.
