The Supreme Court refused to hear the petition of Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) against the order to remove the illegally constructed settlements in Shaheen Bagh in South Delhi. The hearing on this matter in the Supreme Court started from 2 o'clock, but as soon as the hearing started, the Supreme Court expressed its displeasure that why the political parties have come with this petition. The Supreme Court said that we will only listen to the aggrieved party. The Supreme Court ordered the political party to move the High Court. Let us inform that in the petition it was said that the authorities have made a plan to demolish the slums and it is going to be implemented in the next week. It is also mentioned in the petition that on May 4 this week, bulldozers were run on the buildings of the poor in Sangam Vihar.
