BJP Meeting: BJP's performance in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections was disappointing. The party has come down from 62 seats to 33 seats as compared to 2019. To discuss these results, a meeting of the BJP State Executive is being held in Lucknow. Along with discussing the results of the Lok Sabha elections in the meeting, the by-elections to be held on 10 seats in UP and the 2027 assembly elections will also be discussed. On the other hand, party officials who came to attend the meeting say that something is not right in UP. Mandal President Siyaraj from Prayagraj and President of Backward Front Subhash Patel say that the morale of the workers is broken, officers are running the government and the ministers are helpless. He says that no one says anything here but the party will lose like this.

Opposition accused of fabricating a false narrative

Former MP Kaushal Kishore, who was a minister in the Modi government, says that we lost due to the narrative of the opposition and some people in the party. He said that the condition of the party worsened after the statement of Faizabad MP Lallu Singh during the elections. MP Vinod Sonkar says that the reason for the defeat in UP was the constitution made by the opposition and the narrative of ending reservation, and he also cited the slogan 'Abki Baar, 400 Paar' as the reason for the defeat. Not only this, he has also accused some people of the party of sabotage.

Respect for workers is priority - Bhupendra Chaudhary

At the same time, BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary has said that respect for workers is our priority. He has said that the entire BJP will walk shoulder to shoulder with the workers. He said that we should all take a pledge that we will win 100 percent in the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in UP. He said that the next battle is between the selfish, nepotists and Modi's family. Bhupendra Chaudhary said that all of us workers have to fulfill Prime Minister Modi's resolution to make India a developed nation in 2047.

CM Yogi and other senior officials present in the meeting

CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, State President Bhupendra Chaudhary, National General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Arun Singh are present in the state executive meeting. Apart from this, former Union Minister Smriti Irani is also attending the meeting.

Commitment to reservation in the proposal

A political proposal was also presented in the BJP executive meeting. Which was presented by the party's state general secretary Anup Gupta. In this proposal, the public was thanked for making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. The proposal also said that the public has been cheated in the name of changing the constitution, ending reservation and giving Rs 8500 every month to every woman, that is why BJP did not get the expected success in the elections. BJP has said in the proposal that the party is committed to the reservation of backward and Dalits. Also, the Samajwadi Party has been accused of ending reservation in promotion.
