Soren was crowned in Jharkhand, took oath as CM for the fourth time

Jharkhand Politics: Creating history once again in the politics of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren took oath as the Chief Minister for the fourth time. Hemant Soren demonstrated his political strength by defeating BJP candidate Gamliyal Hembram from Barhet assembly seat by a huge margin of 39,791 votes. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led alliance strengthened its government by winning 56 out of a total of 81 seats, while the BJP-led NDA had to be content with just 24 seats.
