Ganguly and Chappell had the biggest dispute in the history of Indian cricket and due to this, Ganguly lost the captaincy of the Indian team in all formats and then had to be out of the team for a long time.Ganguly said in a video on ClassPlus YouTube, "After the World Cup, we got a new coach. We discussed a few names, but we picked Greg Chappell of Australia. The 2007 World Cup was very important for us because 2003 was so important. Despite being close, we could not win the final. Not only me but the entire team was looking for another chance to fulfill our dreams.
