Uniform Civil Code: Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill has been introduced in the Uttarakhand Assembly on Tuesday. The bill proposes uniform marriage, divorce, land, property and inheritance laws for all citizens in Uttarakhand regardless of their religion. Many people including the opposition parties are expressing their opposition to the bill brought by the Uttarakhand government. In such a situation, Samajwadi Party MP ST Hasan has issued a big statement on the UCC Bill. Let us know what he said.

Against the principles of Quran...

On the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Uttarakhand 2024 Bill, Samajwadi Party MP ST Hasan has said that the instructions given to Muslims by Quran Pak. If any law is made against it, like we have been giving share in the ancestral property to the daughter for 1400 years, then if any law is made against it then we are not ready to accept it. He said that if others do not have any problem with our Shariat law then why do they? How long will they continue to polarize Hindus and Muslims?

UCC will not come in Bengal- Saugata Roy

On the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Uttarakhand 2024 Bill, Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy has said that while they can implement UCC in BJP ruled states, it will not be implemented in West Bengal. The MP said that since ED is the main weapon of the government, they can do this, but still they have not been able to prove any case.

What did other opponents say?

On the UCC bill introduced in the Uttarakhand Assembly, Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali, executive member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) said that as far as UCC is concerned, we are of the opinion that uniformity cannot be brought in every law. . And if you exempt a community from this UCC, how can it be called Uniform Code? There was no need for such a uniform civil code. After the draft is presented before the Assembly, our legal team is studying it and then the further action will be decided. Meanwhile, AIUDF President and MP Badruddin Ajmal said that India is a colorful garden. No matter how beautiful a garden is, if it has just one flower, you won't be able to look at it for long. People of all religions and cultures live in India, this is our beauty. If anything is done against nature, it will not continue for long. When governments fail, state assemblies have to come up with something shiny. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also does this from time to time. ..They want to please PM Modi because they want to remain CM for some time. This bill should be thrown in the dustbin.
