Lucknow: If a person is not found wearing a face mask, skull, handkerchief, scarf, scarf on a public place or outside the house, then a thousand when the person is first caught by police-administration personnel and ten when caught next time. A fine of thousand rupees will be imposed. Similarly, a person will be punished with a fine of five hundred rupees for spitting in public place or outside the house. In this regard, a notification has been issued by Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad on Tuesday. These penal provisions have been made under the UP Mahamari Covid-19 (Eighth Amendment) Rules 2020 for prevention of increasing infection of corona.Let us tell you that CM Yogi has announced a weekend lockdown in the state to control the corona infection. As per the government order, all the establishments in the state will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, except for essential services. Apart from this, in the districts where there are more than 500 active cases, every day activities will be restricted except for essential services from 08 am to 7 am the next day. This rule should be implemented with immediate effect. The UP government has appealed in its directive not to leave the house as far as necessary.
