Cricket - T20 World Cup will be held in UAE not India, BCCI's decision due to Corona crisis
Covid-19 has snatched T-20 World Cup hosting from India. Due to Corona, the BCCI has decided to take the T-20 World Cup in UAE instead of India. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah said that he will soon give information to the ICC. However, no decision has been taken about the dates right now.

In the beginning of this month, the BCCI had given four weeks to make this decision and to inform him that seeing the situation of Kovid-19, India can host this competition.

The second phase of IPL-14 will be held in UAE to October 19 to October 19. It is believed that the T20 World Cup will be organized from October 17, which is just two days after the IPL ends. By the way, the final decision about the schedule of T20 World Cup is to take the ICC.

According to the report, UAE will host Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai T20 World Cup matches. At the same time, Rhowd will be done in Oman. Due to Corona Pandemic last year, the ICC had adjourned the proposed 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia. Later, the ICC had decided that 2021 in India, while Australia will be played 2022.

There will be 12 matches between eight teams in round 1, out of which four (top two to each group) will qualify for Super-12. This round will play Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea. Out of which four teams will join the top eight ranking T20 International teams and reach Super 12.

At the same time, there will be a total of 30 matches in Super-12, which will begin from October 24. There will be 12 teams in two groups. Their matches will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. After this, two semi-finals and final matches will be played.

Keeping in mind all the health, this decision has been decided among the fears of the third wave. The BCCI wanted to host T20 World Cup in India, but some other issues also came. It has been found that the board will not get a tax exemption from the Government of India. At the same time, the BCCI was afraid that after the suspension of the IPL due to Corona virus in Bio-Bublic, the international player would not want to come to India.
