Taliban Pour 3000 Litres Of Liquor Into Kabul Canal after a major crackdown

After banning the cultivation of opium, the Taliban inflicted another blow on the drug in the country. Afghan intelligence agents threw about 3 thousand liters of liquor into the drain in the capital Kabul. After starting an exercise to crack down on the sale of alcohol in Afghanistan, the country's intelligence agency has given this information on Sunday. In a video released by the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), its agents can be seen pouring casks full of alcohol into the drain. Afghan agents had recovered this liquor in a raid.

The previous government, backed by Western countries, had also banned the sale and consumption of alcohol in Afghanistan, but the Taliban, which is recognized as a fanatical brand of Islam, is more strict about it.

Raids on drug addicts have increased since the Taliban captured Kabul on August 15 last year.
