Hyundai Ai3 Micro SUV: Tata Punch has made the micro SUV segment quite popular in India. Tata Punch has been included in the top 10 selling cars of the country. The popularity of this car is increasing continuously. But, now Hyundai is also working on a new SUV to compete with Tata Punch in the Micro SUV segment, which will open up a new option for customers apart from Tata Punch when it comes to India.It is being speculated that Hyundai will bring a new micro SUV (codenamed Hyundai Ai3) by the end of this year or early next year. It will be the company's smallest and cheapest SUV in the country. The new Hyundai micro SUV can be placed within the expected price range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) to compete with the Tata Punch. Apart from the Punch, it will also compete with cars like Maruti Ignis, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.Recently, the Hyundai Ai3 SUV has been spied testing, revealing some of its design elements.The new spy shots reveal that the Hyundai Ai3 SUV will feature projector headlamps with H-shaped light elements. It will get taillamps with LED DRLs, circular fog lamps, alloy wheels and H-shaped design elements.The lower variants of the SUV could get steel wheels. Apart from this, not much information has been revealed yet. However, it can be expected to feature features like a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, automatic AC unit, semi-digital instrument cluster and a single-pane sunroof.
