T20 World Cup 2022 Prize Money: In the final of the T20 World Cup, England won the trophy for the second time by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets. Along with winning the tournament, the England team was given a prize money of US $ 1.6 million i.e. about 13 crore 4 lakh Indian rupees. This prize money was given by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to the winning team.

Apart from the world champion England, the runner up team i.e. Pakistan was given half of the winner's amount i.e. 8 million US dollars. Also, both the semi-final losing teams i.e. India and New Zealand were given US$ 4 million each. Also, the winning team of every match in Super-12 got 40 thousand US dollars. At the same time, 70-70 thousand US dollars were given to the teams that were out of Super 12. The same prize money format was used in the last World Cup (in 2021) as well.

Talking about the final match, England won the toss and decided to bowl in this match. Batting first, Pakistan team scored 137 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In response, England chased this target in 19 overs. In this match, Sam Karan was adjudged Man of the Match.
