In the 2029 series, Headingley will be replaced by Southampton's Rose Bowl while the remaining four venues will remain Lord's, The Oval, Edgbaston and Old Trafford. India had lost the final of the World Test Championship (WTC Final-2021) against New Zealand two years ago in Southampton itself.England team will also come to IndiaApart from Australia, India is the only team against whom England plays a series of five Test matches both at home and abroad. England's next tour of India will be in January 2024, where five Test matches will be played. These matches will be played for the Anthony Di Mello Trophy. India and England are playing five matches in a Test series since 2014. The exception to this was England's 2020-21 tour of India. Then one Test was reduced to accommodate the limited overs series. This series had to be postponed due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. India last won a Test series abroad in 2007 against England.
