Chhattisgarh News: So far 11 people, including 10 jawans, have died in the Naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Naxalites did this attack by ambush. The Naxalites attacked the DRG vehicle by making a landmine. Naxalites have executed the incident by IED blast. After attacking, the Naxalites fled towards the jungle, after which the remaining jawans of the same team chased them but due to bad weather and jungle, they still managed to escape.
After this attack, there was a conversation between the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel. After this, information has come to the fore that the Central Security Forces and the State Government forces may jointly run a joint operation against the Naxalites and may launch a major operation against the Naxalites involved in this attack.
Jawans were returning after patrollingThese jawans were returning after patrolling Aranpur police station area of Dantewada. The jawans had gone on foot for patrolling, but while returning, due to fatigue, were taking a lift in a pick-up van and coming back to the camp. At the same time, the Naxalites exploded the landmine. On the other hand, Inspector General of Police of Bastar Range Sundarraj P told that the campaign was launched on an information. The vehicle was hit by an IED when the team was returning after completing the operation. There were 10 DIG (District Reserve Guard) personnel in the vehicle and a driver. The dead bodies of the martyred soldiers are being brought back. Senior officers are present on the spot. Relief and rescue work is going on.
