Rudraprayag. The whole Kedarnagari reverberated with the slogans of Har Har Mahadev, when the doors of Baba Kedar Dham were opened for the devotees at 6.25 am on 6th May. On this occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present and he also shared the information about the opening of Kedar Dham on his social media. After the opening of the Dham, according to tradition, the process of worshiping started in the Dham. A large number of devotees reached Kedar Dham on this occasion.
Thousands of devotees have reached Kedarnath Dham from all over the country and abroad. Despite the cold even before Baba opened the doors, a crowd was seen in the Kedar temple since late Thursday night. In the morning a crowd of devotees was seen till the Saraswati river. There was a huge influx of devotees for the darshan of Baba Kedar and the competition to take selfies and photos was also seen among the people. Many people were seen taking Baba's darshan through phone to their families.Dham became devotional only after reaching the doliEarlier on Thursday, Baba's Chaalvigraha Utsav Doli reached Baba Kedarnath Dham. Doli reached Dham with thousands of devotees and Bambam Bholenath's cheers. The tradition of placing this doli inside the temple started after Baba opened the doors on Friday morning. Throughout the night, the doli remained in the temple store for rest and thousands of devotees were seen with enthusiasm.It is worth mentioning that for the first time in Kedarnath Dham, devotees will also have a glimpse of the idol of Shankaracharya in the Samadhi Sthal of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The site, which was destroyed in the 2013 disaster, has been reconstructed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached this samadhi site last year.
