NEET-UG Paper Case: In the NEET-UG paper case, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court. It has responded to the paper leak. The government had told the Supreme Court that until it is proved that the paper has been leaked across India, it does not want to cancel the examination because the results have been declared. In such a situation, cancelling the examination would be a fraud with lakhs of promising candidates.

The central government had said that the central agency is moving forward on the basis of the lead found in the investigation. Who is behind the paper leak, it will be exposed soon. Every aspect is being looked into. In order to deal strictly with the culprits in such cases in future, the government has brought the Public Examination Act.

CBI arrested two people

In the NEET-UG paper leak case, the CBI arrested two people including a candidate from Patna on Tuesday. In this way, the CBI has arrested 11 people so far. This is the first time that the CBI has arrested a candidate in this case. The accused is a resident of Nalanda.

In the paper leak case, the CBI has so far arrested 8 people from Bihar and one person each from Latur and Godhra in Gujarat. Along with this, one person has also been arrested from Dehradun. The NEET UG exam was held on May 5. About 24 lakh students participated in it. The result was declared on June 4. Questions started being raised on it since then. 67 students topped the exam together. All of them got 720 out of 720 marks. This is the first time that such a large number of students scored 100 percent marks.
