In Delhi, near the Janakpuri flyover, a young woman has committed the incident of gang-rape in a car by two people. After the incident, the accused threw the girl on the road at around 8.30 pm and fled from the spot. After the accused left, the victim informed her brother about the incident and reached her home with the help of auto. Where the next day the victim reached the Ambedkar Nagar police station, where the victim called on 181 when the FIR was not registered. After which the Janakpuri police station contacted the woman. The woman was present at the police station till the filing of the news and the process of registering an FIR was going on.

The police officer said that the victim lives with her family in Madangir area. In her complaint to the police, she told that she was looking for a job for a long time due to the deteriorating economic condition of the house. One of his information, the woman gave the number of one of her acquaintances and told that it would get her a job. The victim contacted him and on April 3, the accused called the victim to the Janakpuri flyover. The accused told that he has talked about a job for the victim and has to go to meet her. The victim reached the place mentioned by the accused on the evening of March 3. Where the accused was present in the car along with another youth. The accused made the victim sit in the car and gave her a cold drink to drink. The victim drank a cold drink, after which she started getting intoxicated. After sometime the accused stopped the vehicle at a secluded place. After which the accused carried out the incident of gang-rape with the victim. After the incident, at around 8.30 pm, the accused fled leaving the victim on a road in Janakpuri area.

Ambedkar Nagar Police did not register FIR

The victim informed her brother about the incident and somehow reached her home by taking an auto. Due to late night, the victim reached Ambedkar Nagar police station in the morning of the next day (April 4). The victim alleges that from the morning of April 4, the Ambedkar Nagar police station kept her sitting in the police station till evening and sent her back in the evening without registering an FIR. After which the victim called on 181 (Women's Helpline) on 5 April. After getting help from the women's helpline, the police contacted the victim and she was called to the Janakpuri police station. The victim was present at Janakpuri police station when the news was written.
