He hoisted the flag at the Red Fort for the 11th time. During this, 6000 special guests were present. Keeping in mind the security of the special guests and leaders present in Delhi, the movement of common people has been banned on all the roads around the Red Fort. However, all the roads will be opened in the afternoon after the program is over.On the occasion of India's 78th Independence Day, PM Modi wished all the countrymen. He wrote on the social media platform X "Many happy wishes to all the countrymen on Independence Day. Jai Hind!" PM Modi has given wishes in both Hindi and English languages. This year the theme of Independence Day has been kept as 'Developed India @ 2047'.
