Jammu-Kashmir Assembly Elections: Big information is coming out about the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. The Election Commission can announce the elections next week. Elections can be held in 5 phases in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The Election Commission will hold a meeting with the Union Home Ministry by the end of this week. Security will be reviewed in this. Then the Election Commission will take a final decision on the dates of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The entire commission, led by Election Commission chief Rajiv Kumar, has visited Srinagar and Jammu from 8 to 10 August for election preparations. The last assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in 2014 in five phases.

According to the Election Commission, there are many challenges in the districts of North Kashmir. Many areas here are considered sensitive. Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian and Srinagar districts in North Kashmir have been considered sensitive. Whereas in Jammu division, districts like Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Jammu, Udhampur have been considered sensitive.

Amid the election buzz in Jammu and Kashmir, the political temperature is gradually rising. On Monday, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah had said that he will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. However, he refused to tell from which constituency he will contest. He expressed hope that the Election Commission will announce the dates of the elections by the end of this month.

Farooq Abdullah had reached Doda in Jammu region. Here he said that his son Omar Abdullah does not want to contest the elections under the current system. He has made up his mind that he will not contest the elections until the state status of Jammu and Kashmir is restored. However, I am going to contest the elections because I am not dead.

Farooq Abdullah made a big claim during this time. He said that the National Conference will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own. It does not need the support of anyone other than Allah. We are ready for the elections.
