Not only India, Sri Lankan cricket has also decided to give important responsibility to Jonty Rhodes of South Africa, who is famous for his excellent fielding and has worked for many IPL teams. Apart from these two, physiotherapist Alex Countori has also been selected for this work.

What is Responsibility

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has not selected these three for coaching the team. The Board has selected these three to prepare local coaches, trainers and physiotherapists and improve their skills so that they can work with the needs of today's times. These three will prepare a training program in the selected area and will give training accordingly. Sri Lanka Cricket Board has issued a statement giving this information. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka Board. Apart from this, this committee has decided that it will honor the junior cricketers who do well in the school tournaments held in Sri Lanka. These awards will be given at under-15 and under-17 level.

Arun was a coach twice

Bharat Arun has worked with Team India twice. Bharat Arun first worked with Team India in the year 2014. After this, when Ravi Shastri became the head coach of Team India in 2017, he added Bharat Arun to the team. From 2017, Bharat took over the responsibility of bowling coach of Team India and then he remained with the team till the T20 World Cup played in 2021. Before this, he had been the head of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and had also worked as a coach with the India Under-19 team. As soon as Bharat was the coach, the bowling of Bumrah, Shami, Siraj and other bowlers became much better than before.
