Delhi News: The news of a sensational robbery worth lakhs of rupees has come to light in the country's capital Delhi. According to reports, four people posing as traffic police looted Rs 50 lakh from an employee of Pan Bahar Private Limited. Giving information about the incident on Thursday, an official said that the employee was returning after collecting the money when the robbers committed the crime. He said that the case has been registered and investigation is going on.

The victim was returning to Moti Nagar with money

According to reports, this robbery incident took place on Wednesday evening near Salimgarh flyover on Delhi's Outer Ring Road. Giving information about this, the police said that the incident took place around 5 pm when an employee of Pan Bahar Private Limited was returning to the office in Moti Nagar after taking money from Kucha Ghasi Ram. He said that when the man was going to his office, he was stopped by two bike riders carrying a wireless set near Salim Garh flyover on the Outer Ring Road. Posing as a traffic policeman, he conducted a surprise check and managed to open the trunk of the Venue car.

‘Special wings were also involved in the investigation’

Police quoted the complaint as saying, 'Two other persons came on another bike and took out a bag from the trunk of the car. The bag contained Rs 50 lakh, which was the amount collected from Kucha Ghasi Ram.' An FIR has been registered under sections 419, 382 and 34 of the IPC at the IP Estate police station and investigation is underway. The officer further said that apart from the local police station team, special wings have also been deployed in the investigation to solve this incident. Based on the present findings of the investigation, it appears that the accused persons had posed as traffic police.
