A fire broke out in a train at Udaipur's Fatehnagar station on Wednesday night. The train was standing at the station, when flames were seen rising from one of its bogies. The train had 22 coaches. In such a situation, seeing the fire, there was a stir.
According to media reports, the train whose bogie caught fire was a Kovid special train. Shortly after the fire in the bogie, the flames reached to two bogies as well. One bogie was completely gutted in the accident.
Fatehnagar police and fire brigade were immediately informed after seeing the fire. After which four vehicles of fire brigade from Fatehnagar, Sanwad Municipality, Dariba and Kapasan reached the spot. After hard work, the fire was brought under control at 3 pm. Thankfully the station was small, no train was on the track during that time. Due to which a major accident was averted.
