After Karauli and Jodhpur, the fire of communal violence has reached Bharatpur as well. Two communities clashed late on Monday night in Budh ki Haat area. After which both the sides fiercely attacked each other with stones and glass bottles. A passerby was injured in the attack.
The incident happened around 11 pm. According to the information, there was a fight between the two communities in 2013 as well. Five accused in the same case had come home on Monday after being acquitted. So they were celebrating. It is alleged that he played DJ and dhol and challenged the other side. After that they started throwing glass bottles at the houses of the other side. After which the other side also threw stones. Stones were also pelted at a religious place. The accused also damaged two bikes.
Stone pelting took place on both sides for about half an hour. The police have detained more than 15 people. At the same time, as a precaution, the police has converted the entire area into a cantonment. A police force of five police stations has been deployed on the spot.
