New Delhi: There is a situation of fear regarding corona virus infection in children, especially with the third wave of Kovid-19 infection. But on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health clarified that most children are asymptomatic and seldom require hospitalisation. The second wave of corona has proved to be more deadly than the first. The number of corona positive children was also seen during this wave. Many questions related to the adverse effect of this virus on children have been raised in the media.Now it has been said by the Union Health Ministry that the wave of corona does not affect children much. Children who have corona are mostly asymptomatic, that is, they have very few symptoms of this infection. According to the information given by the ministry, very few children who get infected sometimes need to be admitted to the hospital. The Health Ministry has said that even if completely healthy children get this infection, then they get mild health and they recover quickly without going to the hospital. During the second wave of corona, the children who needed hospitalization had lack of immunity, due to which they had to be hospitalized.It has been clarified by the government that no such data is available in India or in the whole world in which it has been found that this infection has spread seriously among children. On behalf of the government, it has been said that in view of child care, emphasis is being laid on developing healthcare infrastructure. Efforts are on to improve the health system for the care and treatment of children infected with this infection. It has also been informed that the trial of Covaccine has been started on children in the age group of 2-18 years.
