UP will get discounts from June 21 and malls and restaurants will also be able to open

As soon as the number of corona cases in UP comes down, preparations have been made to unlock the state completely. CM Yogi said in a meeting with Team 9 on Tuesday that now from June 21, there should be more relaxation in the corona curfew. Apart from this, the night curfew remained from 9 am till 7 am the next day. At the same time, orders have been given to open restaurants with 50 percent capacity in the Kovid protocol. Apart from this, permission has also been given to operate parks, street food etc.

340 new cases found in the state:

The Chief Minister said that the situation of corona epidemic in the state is becoming more controlled with every passing day. The virus has now weakened, but the risk of infection still remains. In the last 24 hours, 2,57,135 samples were tested. In the same period, 340 new cases of infection have been reported and 1,104 patients have become free from corona infection. Earlier, on March 12, there was almost a similar situation. At present 7,221 cases are active. The overall positivity rate was only 0.1% in the last 24 hours, while the recovery rate has gone up to 98.3%. So far 05 crore 38 lakh sample tests have been done in the state. Amidst the corona epidemic, so far 16 lakh 73 thousand people of the state have become free from Kovid infection.

 Corona curfew will be further relaxed from the coming Monday, June 21, amid improving conditions in view of Kovid infection. Night Corona Curfew will be effective from 09 PM to 07 AM the next day. Restaurants and malls can be opened with 50 percent capacity with compliance with the Kovid protocol. Similarly, permission will also be given to operate parks, street food etc. Setting up of Kovid help desks at these places will be mandatory. Detailed guidelines regarding the new system should be issued in time. The coming few months are sensitive in terms of the health of the children. The rainy season is starting. There is a possibility of increasing the problem of communicable diseases, dengue, encephalitis, chikungunya etc. Experts have also expressed the fear of a third wave of Kovid. In such a situation, all necessary arrangements are being made for the health safety of the children. Parents also need to take special precautions. Along with the 'Dastak' campaign for the prevention of encephalitis, special awareness campaigns should be conducted to prevent communicable diseases.

Children need special attention:

 The CM said that adequate availability of useful pulse oximeters for children should be ensured. Our MSME units can well cooperate towards manufacturing of Child Pulse Oximeter. Efforts should be started in this direction by the concerned department by contacting the MSME units. All necessary arrangements are being made to prevent a possible third wave of Kovid-19. In this episode, a special program for door-to-door distribution of medical kits for children below the age of 18 years has been started from today. This is a very important program. Medicine-kits should be provided to the monitoring committees by the ministers-in-charge in the districts. When the monitoring committees give medicine kits, then the beneficiary's name, address, phone number, etc. details are also obtained. Information about the health of the children should be obtained by contacting the beneficiaries through the CM helpline.

 Door to door distribution of medical kits:

The CM said that a special campaign for door-to-door distribution of medical kits for children should be conducted smoothly. First, free medicine kits will be distributed to more than 50 lakh children. Children below the age of 18 years with symptoms of Kovid-19 have been divided into four categories (0-1 years, 1-5 years, 5-12 years and 12-18 years). Different types of medicine kits have been prepared for each category.
