Rajasthan Elections: On Saturday, Bharatiya Janata Party released the second list of its candidates in Rajasthan. In the new list, the party has announced 83 candidates but in this second list, the party has canceled the tickets of 8 sitting MLAs. Of these, three MLAs are from Vasundhara camp. These include Chandrabhan Singh from Chittor and Ashok Lahoti from Sanganer. Ashok Lahoti is considered a very close leader of Vasundhara Raje.It is being said that the Sangh was opposing giving him the ticket. BJP State General Secretary Bhajanlal Sharma has been given the ticket from Sanganer in place of Ashok Lahoti. It is understood that an attempt has been made to balance the local leadership of BJP in making the list of candidates. Tickets of some have been canceled while some old people have also been given a chance.
Tickets of which MLAs were cut?Vasundhara Raje, Rajendra Rathod and leaders belonging to all other groups have been made candidates. Vasundhara Raje will contest from Jhalarpatan while Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod will contest from Taranagar. The names of the 8 MLAs whose tickets have been cut in the second list of BJP are as follows-

How many seats for which category?In the second list of BJP, 10 women have been given tickets, while 15 members of Scheduled Castes have got places. Whereas the number of Scheduled Tribe candidates is 10. BJP has so far declared 124 seats out of total 200 seats in Rajasthan. Names of 41 candidates have been announced in the first list and 83 candidates in the second list. Tickets for 76 seats are yet to be announced.
